WE WANT YOUR HELP & SKILL SET!

If God has touched your heart about helping Deaf children living in poverty but you’re not sure exactly how to do that, we have the right program for you! Our new Ambassador Network program is a network of volunteers  who live all over the United States. There is one common goal,  to spread the word about the plight that faces Deaf children living in poverty as well as our child sponsorships that help bring Deaf children a new found hope.

WHAT IS THE AMBASSADOR NETWORK?

The network is a group of people who live all over the United States who all want to help get more Deaf children who live in impoverished conditions in developing countries, a monthly sponsorship. A monthly sponsorship is $38 per month and helps secure that child’s future at a school where they are safe and taken care of and an receive a free and appropriate education as well as language access in the Sign Language that is native to that country. As well as community, the chance to build relationships and most importantly they get to learn about the gospel and the love that Jesus has for them.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT OF AN AMBASSADOR?

The time commitment to be on the team is flexible. We meet as a team on a monthly basis for 60 minutes on Zoom. In addition to that we encourage everyone to get at least one child sponsorship secured per month. You can do this any number of ways. By presenting at your church, bible study, friend group, community club, school or any the public meeting place. You can also make phone calls or host an event , hand out flyers or just have coffee with a friend, to help acquire deaf child sponsorships.

WHAT ITEMS WILL YOU NEED?

The Deaf Child Hope International home office is in Omaha (Papillon) Nebraska. Once you are onboarded as an Ambassador then we will send you a welcome email with links to all of the training materials and then schedule an onboarding training with the Ambassador Network Program coordinator, Katie Rivera who is on staff at DCH in the Promotions department.  Around that time Katie will make sure that most of the materials you will need for presentations are provided to you electronically and other items will be mailed to you from the home office. In addition to that it would be helpful if you had a large to go bag to keep everything organized and ready to go in.  Lastly, not required but helpful, order a T-shirt or some other merchandise of your choosing at our online store so you can act as a walking bill-board for the cause!
